This Friday is Black Panther Day
He's one of my favourite characters to draw in combat. Of course not forgetting the incredible Jack Kirby was the one that created the first black superhero, first appearing in Fantastic Four #52 (July 1966).

DC Comics, Vertigo, commissioned me to do a cover for this awesome Hellblazer collection. I've drawn him once before in a panel for Hitman and have wanted to draw him ever since.
And here he is:
Time to get your books-on - tomorrow (27th Jan) it's the Wolverhampton Literary Festival!
You can catch me giving a talk about my work, doing commissions and generally having a lovely time.
Because comics are the best books of all!
Only two sleeps to go until for the Love of Sci Fi in Manchester weekend.
In addition to kick-ass guests like Dave Prowse, Jeremy Bulloch and Jennifer Wenger, they've also got models and props from Star Wars, Battle Star Galactica and Thunderbirds. Lots of drawing inspiration.
Oh and me. On my table. Come and grab prints, signed artwork and commissions.
On 2nd and 3rd December, I'm returning to Manchester for the Love of Sci Fi convention.
You might catch me at my table, or I might be off trying to get autographs from the folk on this (AWESOME) guest-list:
You'll find me in the guest area along with Jeremy (Boba Fett) Bulloch and Dave (Darth Vader) Prowse!!
This time next week, it's London Comicon (
I'm there on Saturday and Sunday - we anticipate it being busy, so best to see me early in the Comic Villiage to get your prints, original artwork and comics.
Proud to be part of the 2000AD Commemorative Steve Dillon Tribute Book on the 1 year anniversary of his death.

We miss you pal,
I'm in the Big Smoke next month for London MCM Comicon.
Can't wait to see what you ask me to draw - it's usually wild and wonderful in London (plus Dredd ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ ).
DM me if there is any specific art you are after.
See you soon,
This time next week I will be hanging out with no other than Flash Gordon, aka Sam Jones. Glasgow Comicon just got better!
In less than 2 weeks I will be up North for the MCM Comicon.
Looking forward to seeing my Scottish fans in person, not just on social media!
